Today's my girlfriend, Jewel's , birthday~

Originally I was going to do another drawing of me and her as our anime-selves, but somehow it ended up as NaruHina XP Don't ask me how, it just did. That's prolly why the style looks a bit different I really like how Naruto's hair turned out :3

I also colored this with an unusual technique that I'm not used to doing. I did all the colors and shading on only one layer per section, instead of using clipping masks. I also used an opacity-tweaked brush to do both the base colors and the shading, which gave it a more painted look, I think.

In any case, it turned out really well, I think ^_^ Prolly my favorite work yet

The idea behind this was originally inspired by the same thing that inspired my poem that I posted earlier for her, found here. That is both my feelings towards her and the way I feel about our relationship, as well as the song "Every Day" by Rascal Flatts. If you know the song, you know what I mean :3

And while this picture may seem to be coming from Hinata's point of view, the way I see it, it can work both ways. In a way, Hinata saved Naruto as well. I can go into a lovey rant about that, but I've blathered on enough XP
