History
Yukina is from a rather populated little community of Snorunts, Glalies, and Froslasses near Snowy Village up in the chilly north. She is quiet and reserved most of the time, which leads to others speaking for her most of the time. She doesn't defend herself well either, and tends to take insults quietly without lashing back out. She is the daughter of the Leader of their Village, and being an only child, combined with her unusual coloring, she is treated much like a princess among the community.

Yukina's passion is writing poems and stories, and is often found deep in thought about a particular verse or paragraph of prose. She expresses herself through these, and as such they are her most precious belongings. She has a strong connection to her father, a mighty Glalie named Zero. The thing she cares about more than anything though, is Knight. She has very strong feelings for him, but has thus far been much too shy to ever reveal them.

She met Knight one night during a great blizzard. The Growlithe had somehow gotten himself lost in it, and was nearly frozen to death when she found him. She alone brought him back to their village, where he was able to make a full recovery. Knight, being extremely loyal, declared that in return for saving his life, he would give his life over to protecting Yukina at all costs. His protective nature nurtures her own submissive one, and causes her to depend on Knight quite heavily in most situations. As a result, Yukina rarely fights at all, letting Knight do all the fighting for her. She will, however, protect him with her abilities as well if he becomes endangered.

Not much is known about her past, other than her strong feelings towards her parents, and her intense fear of using one of her own moves, "Avalanche". Naturally, as an Ice type, she doesn't like fire either, but her time around Knight has made her less careful around it.

Additional Info
-Yukina is the "Leader" of the team, even though she doesn't do most of the fighting
When she and Knight joined the Rogues guild, she chose an orange ribbon to wear because the color reminded her of Knight
Even among shiny Snorunts, Yukina's eye color is a more gentle shade of purple, rather than red. She inherited this color from her mother
Yukina's favorite berry is a Nanab berry, which combines her favorite flavors of bitterness with a nice sweet aftertaste
Unique among Snorunts, Yukina has learned to enjoy warm places, most likely due to her extended time around Knight
Yukina is the water to Knight's fire, and is often one of the only things that can calm him down when he becomes enraged
After the events of Mission 4, Yukina died at the hands of Devonshire. Her body currently rests in a makeshift grave that Knight made at the top of a hill near their cave.

History
Knight was a member of a strong pack of Growlithes and Arcanines from the South. Being restless pokemon, they never really stayed in one place long, and Knight quite enjoyed his time roaming the plains and hills of his region. Being the oldest among his father's three sons, great things were always expected of the young pup. He took these expectations in stride, thinking himself special for being so highly regarded. That was...until his younger brothers began to evolve.

First to evolve was the brother right below him, which startled Knight entirely. His pride had blinded him to the kind of growth his brothers had to produce as younger siblings. As such, they began to grow stronger than him, and when one of them evolved, it was a clear sign something was wrong. Confused and upset, Knight approached his father on the subject, only to be told that if he wanted to be like his brothers, he needed to train harder. This hit him to his core, as he had always thought he was stronger than them, because he was older.

His jealousy and frustration grew and grew as one by one, each of his remaining brothers took their steps into becoming full-fledged Arcanine, while he remained a tiny Growlithe. It became so bad that soon his own appearance disgusted him. It wasn't long after his last brother evolved that Knight abandoned his home, unable to bear his own weakness any longer.

In his rage, Knight wandered farther and farther North, wanting nothing more than to get as far away from his shame as he could. Of course, his own weakness was something he couldn't run from, no matter how much he tried.

Eventually he ended up facing the howling wind and snowy caps of the far north, and after quickly becoming lost in a blizzard, he resigned himself to his doom, cursing his weakness even as he lost consciousness. The next thing he knew, he was waking up in a small Snorunt Village, staring straight into the face of a very concerned Yukina.

Upon finding out what had happened to him, his hate for his own weakness finally flipped his perspective entirely, and he vowed to never again be so weak that he must be saved. Being loyal, despite his past, he decided that his first steps to becoming stronger would be to focus on protecting the one who saved his life.

Assigning himself the role of Yukina's protector, Knight fights furiously to keep her safe, even at the expense of his own safety. He gave up his concern for his own well-being that night in the blizzard, and lives only through Yukina. After certain events transpired in her village, he and Yukina embarked on a journey down south, stumbling upon the sleepy little village of Tao. After learning of the Guilds that the area held, Knight decided that this would be the perfect way to grow stronger, and the number of teams surrounding them would help keep Yukina safe as well.

Despite his devotion to the Snorunt, Knight often thinks only for himself, doing things without asking Yukina and making decisions that affect the both of them on his own. Yukina's submissive nature allows this, and it's because of this that they ended up joining the Rogues Guild. Knight saw that guild as the strongest one, and to him the decision was simple. Yukina, of course, gave no objection, so long as she could stay with him.

Additional Info
Knight is the "Protector" of the team, and insists on doing almost all the fighting himself
He is selfish and pessimistic, and can often be seen frustrated by the slightest of things
True to his nature, Knight is also very hotheaded, and will start fights and cause ruckus at the smallest inclination
He has green eyes, like his father, while his brothers all inherited their mother's eye color
While he's much more outspoken than Yukina, Knight keeps to himself around other people, only talking when necessary. He will only talk freely to Yukina
Having lost a sense of self-preservation, Knight is extremely fearless, not caring for anything but Yukina's safety
After Yukina's death, Knight becomes a lost soul, unable to come to grips with it, and trapped in a state of shock and disbelief. His grief has filled him with anger and hatred towards himself, Devonshire, and anyone else who was present that fateful night. Since the incident, he refuses to interact with anyone, only being seen wandering aimlessly around his cave and Yukina's grave.
